For a completely unique optical environment

The unique combination of a lighting panel utilizing distinctive LED and a sophisticated control unit provides for irradiation of only the necessary light wavelength in the necessary quantity. As well, emission patterns can be easily set up for individual panels with a user-friendly flat switch. Furthermore, up to four lighting panels can be connected to one control unit. The IS Series can be installed in a thermostatic/ humidistatic chmaber or on a shelf in an air-conditioned room for use in plant cultivation experiments or as a supplementary light source in a greenhouse.

Colors (Wavelengths) Selectable
You may select a light source colors (wavelengths) appropriate to your research subject since the emission spectrums of an LED are narrower than that of other light sources such as fluorescent lamps or high-pressure sodium lamps. Up to four colors, which can be composed in a quantitative ratio of 3:1:1:1, are selectable.

Pulsed Emission by Frequency
LED responds quickly, and pulse lighting is available without shortening its service life.
On each lighting panel, it can be set up wide range of frequency.
Pulsed Emission by Duty Ratio
The duty ratio per color can be set. In other words, the lighting time per wavelength cycle can be changed for each color within a panel.

Lighting intensity Control by voltage level
Since LED are microscopic illuminants, their brightness changes with a slight difference in voltage. The luminous power of each color can therefore be minutely controlled with voltage adjustments..
Light and Dark Period Control

On each lighting panel, the control unit with built-in timer enables the light-dark period.

On each panel, "Frequency, Duty ratio, and Intensity" can be set up, and the program is run by one of the following patterns.
-Manual Control...It excutes continuously
-Repeat Control...It excutes on and off
-Daily Control...Up to three pattens are run at the scheduled times in 24 hrs cycle
