Bringing Lighting Solutions
to Society
CCS was established in 1993, in the ancient city of Kyoto, the home
to many growing global venture companies. Having launched itself as
a developer of machine vision systems, a field in which I excelled,
the company realized in the course of technological development that
the key technology to machine vision lies in illumination for ensuring
consistent imaging, that is, lighting technology. Our focus on the
potential of LED lights and pursuit of lighting technologies have
enabled us to take great strides, becoming the leading company in
the industrial LED lights sector.
CCS offers lighting solutions, which are essentially proposals of
optimal illuminators for objects for inspection ("works")
in all shapes and colors, tailored to imaging purposes. Its advanced
lighting technologies enable imaging optimization, and form the know-how
exclusive to CCS, which cannot be reproduced by others even if they
managed to make similar illuminators. That's why we are the leading
company in the world. We intend to contribute to society broadly,
by applying and developing this know-how to various production and
quality control tasks.
For Customer Satisfaction
CCS has advocated the spirit of love and appreciation with respect
to customers, ever since its establishment. In other words, its
corporate activities aim to bring about customer satisfaction, as
reflected in its company name, Creative Customer Satisfaction (CCS).
We take customers' requests seriously, and eagerly pursue technologies
and products that please customers. So far, we have carried out
as many as 30,000 imaging experiments, and created more than 3,000
types of customized illuminators.
CCS has gained customers' confidence and enjoyed growth on a yearly
basis, through the accumulation of such dedicated efforts. CCS hopes
to evolve into a company with social significance, based on a positive
cycle in which profits earned through such efforts are invested
into new technological developments and service structures that
serve customers better, such that CCS's technologies will spread
across society more broadly. CCS's corporate motto "Contributing
to Society through the Science of Light" was naturally derived
in the process of exercising the spirit of love and appreciation.

Becoming a Global Lighting Company
leading the Lighting Industry
CCS aims to contribute to society broadly. Its scope of business
is not limited to industrial illuminators, but includes all
fields in which lighting technologies can be applied. In the
agricultural sector, for example, we have developed environmental
chambers; we provide research institutes and universities
with standard chambers designed for laboratories. In the medical
sector, we conduct research on lighting applications technologies.
There is a strong possibility that both areas will substantially
contribute to the future of humanity.
Lighting applications technologies, including LEDs, are still
in the development stage. Their potential is infinite, not
only for industrial illuminators but also in new markets yet
to be found. They will lead to the creation of a lighting
industry, which should literally serve as the driving force
behind the 21st century. CCS's challenge is to become a global
lighting company on the cutting edge of the industry. Both
at home and abroad, you can count on the future of CCS, as
a contributor backed by original technologies and know-how.
