In various events taking advantage of the history and tradition of Kyoto, we place “wavering LED lighting” at temples and shrines so that tourists visiting Kyoto at night can enjoy the scenes as if under flickering candlelight.

We have co-sponsored the “Youngsters’ Science Festival” held at the Kyoto Municipal Science Center for Youth in November every year since 2005. More than a total of 5,000 parents and children come to the festival for two days. We help provide an opportunity for young people to get to know the excitement of science by using the “IS series” LED plant study unit at our booth and demonstrating the differences in raising seedling with different colors of light.

Our President Yoneda gives lectures for business managers of small- and medium-sized companies as well as students aiming to found a business. As the content of his lectures is based on his actual experiences from the beginning of the company’s founding to its listing on the stock exchange, we receive many opinions from listeners that his words were useful towards founding a company or taking a company public.
He has given lectures to students since 2006, and approximately 300 students attend his class every time.

As a company that conducts a wide variety of research and development using LEDs, which are attracting attention as an environmentally-friendly light source, we participate in various environmental events. We exhibit our LED plant study unit and introduce how to nurture lettuce using LED wavelengths. It has become an opportunity for people to become interested in research technologies that play a critical role in future food supply in its relations with population growth or the “industrialization of agriculture.”
