With a corporate motto of “love and appreciation for customers” since its establishment, CCS has developed business in Japan and overseas with an aim to achieve Creative Customer Satisfaction, which our company is named after.

By quickly focusing attention on LEDs (light emitting diodes), CCS has delivered our products to production sites of various industries as a leading company of LED lights for machine vision. To practice tougher quality control, the spread of machine vision as automatic inspection technology to replace visual inspection has been expanding to a wide range of industries such as the electronic and semiconductor industries, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, as well as the automotive industry.

Our LED lights for machine vision have been developed and produced based on core technologies for which we have obtained numerous patents. We have more than 4,400 kinds of product lineups combined between standard brands and customized products. As these products are produced under tougher quality control, they have gained a reputation of high reliability from our customers. In addition, our competitive edge is that we can propose “lighting technologies” that can make invisibles visible by making full use of 40,000 experiments on imaging know-how accumulated up to now. We intend to achieve optimal lighting for customers around the world by combining core technologies on the hardware side and “lighting technologies” on the software side.

Now, various forms of environmental pollution, which contribute to global warming, have become major social concerns, and the lighting industry for machine vision is required to supply environmentally-friendly lights. CCS will, therefore, strive to contribute broadly to society by continuously supplying industrial LED illuminators that are more energy efficient and more effective in CO₂ reduction than halogen lights, and working to capitalize on new markets.

For the development of new business, we have commercialized LED lights for microscopy and LED lights for plant growth, both of which are beginning to penetrate into the market. We will further promote the R&D of these lights into bio-tech, medical and other application fields. In the bio-tech field, we are aiming to realize plants that can contribute to the “industrialization of agriculture” with LED lights and will focus on R&D for the practical application of LED panels for leaf vegetables. We also intend to cultivate the development of LED lights for medical fields that can contribute to “new medical treatments using light” as well as the development of LED lights for industrial and consumer use, as pillars for new businesses.

With “creating a new lighting industry and aiming to be a global lighting company” as a medium- and long-term corporate vision, we are working to expand our share in the field of lighting for machine vision and establish new businesses.
