“LED Lighting That Has Been Engineered for Exhibition and Preservation Use”
Each object that is exposed to light possesses what can be thought of as an intrinsic or “true” color. Our products are capable of faithfully reproducing this almost infinite array of colors. Although this may seem unremarkable on first glance, CCS continues to push the boundaries of this technology, and utilizes such expertise in its LED light offerings.
CCS’s “Natural Light LEDs” are capable of generating visible wavelength light that spans the spectrum between violet to red, in a range similar to that of natural sunlight, allowing for ideal lighting that reproduces the true colors of the objects being illuminated.
Furthermore, based on its proprietary design, it also suppresses light wavelength peaks that can cause the object being viewed to appear unnatural, or even those that can cause physical damage to the object itself.
The apparent color of an object that is illuminated by a light source, such as a light bulb, fluorescent lamp, or LED lighting is referred to as its “color rendering,” and the characteristics by which such rendering is evaluated are known as “color rendering properties.”
Generally speaking, “light sources with good color rendering properties” refer to light that faithfully brings out the coloring of the object being illuminated in respect to a reference light source, and the maximum value is defined as a “Color Rendering Index of 100.”
In Japan, the color rendering index is defined by JIS standards, thus allowing for the quantification and comparison of color rendering properties.
CCS’s “Natural Light LEDs” illuminate showpieces in a way that faithfully brings out their natural color.
In terms of the “average color rendering index,” the standardized/numerical scale of faithful color reproduction, CCS’s independently developed “Natural Light LEDs” achieve a score of “Ra98,” exceedingly close to a score of 100.
They are capable of reproducing delicate colors that were considered impossible to portray using conventional LED lighting.
*Data evaluated using average value of average color rendering indices Ra: R1 through R8 and specialized color rendering indices Ri: R1 through R15 for individual colors
CCS’s LED lights are manufactured under what is reputed as one of the strictest quality control systems in the industry.
Due to their high level of reliability, they are used in great number for applications, such as precision inspection devices, and their exceptional reliability has helped them attain the “No.1 market share” for the field of image processing LED lighting.
In this way, our high levels of engineering and quality, and our extensive track record have helped us earn outstanding global recognition.
