Warranty Information

  • 1. If a failure due to a manufacturing fault occurs within one year of the date of purchase, repair/replacement of the product shall be free of charge.
    However, our warranty does not cover any failure or damage attributable to the following causes:
    • (1) Improper use of the product
    • (2) Dropping or other impact of the product after purchase
    • (3) Fire or natural disaster such as an earthquake, flood or lightning, or unusual conditions (abnormal voltage applied to the product, excessive static electricity, water leakage, condensation, use of chemical agent, etc.), or any other external cause
    • (4) Connection of a lighting device that is not specified by our company
    • (5) Other circumstances that cannot be attributed to our company
  • 2. The warranty only covers the product itself and does not cover any secondary damage (such as damage to the equipment, opportunity loss, lost profit, etc.) indirectly caused by failure or damage of this product.
  • 3. Product repair/replacement is principally conducted at our site. Please send the product to our company. Repair or replacement at a site of your choosing is available by special arrangement.
  • 4. A repaired item will be warrantied for three months from the date of repair. This repair warranty covers only the repaired portion (not the entire product).
    If the remaining period of the original warranty is longer than the repair warranty period, the original warranty expiration date will be observed.
  • 5. This product is intended to be used for general commercial or industrial purposes.
    Do not use this product in situations that require mission-critical reliability, such as nuclear, medical, surgical, aerospace, passenger mobile, or other potentially life-threatening situations. This warranty does not cover such unintended uses.

Repairs During Warranty Period

In the event that our company's product is found to be malfunctioning or operating abnormally during the warranty period under the conditions of use specified in the instruction guide and other directions, we will provide free repairs or a product replacement, based on the terms given in the Warranty Information.For such cases, please direct further inquiries to our company sales representatives or sales offices.

Repairs After Warranty Has Expired

For products for which the warranty period has expired, we charge a fee for repairs. For such cases, please direct further inquiries to our company sales representatives or sales offices. After verifying the condition of the product, we can provide a quotation for repair costs.

Verifying the Condition of Malfunction

When requesting repairs, we ask that you provide us with the following information in advance, in order to allow for smooth processing of your request. We ask for your cooperation.

  1. Condition of the product
  2. Model name/serial number of the product
  3. Specific description of the symptoms of the malfunction or abnormal operation
  • ・Frequency of occurrence (constant/periodic/once every x number of times)
  • ・Timing of occurrence (immediately during initial usage/after a fixed amount of time/unrelated to time used)
  • ・Environment in which it is occurring (other devices used, usage environment, usage conditions, etc.)
