What is Hyperspectral Imaging Hyperspectral Imaging is a technology for acquiring images using a hyperspectral camera that has the function of acquiring images with high wavelength resolution and corresponding illumination. By imaging and visualizing the reflected light of the target object, it is possible to perform inspections that were difficult to achieve with ordinary cameras, such as component analysis, foreign material detection, and highly accurate color identification.

Moisture has a high absorption rate in the infrared region around 1,450nm, so the infrared light is absorbed in the area where the moisture is present, and therefore appears black in the image.
