Near-Infrared Light + Near-Infrared Camera
By utilizing the wavelength characteristics of the near-infrared region, it is possible to see things that are normally invisible in image inspection.
This enables inspection and sorting of the inside of packages, detection of contained substances, and inspection of internal defects in semiconductors.
Application Example
- Inspection of moisture content and water droplets
- Inspection of contents inside packages
- Detection of foreign material entrapment in package seals (packaging material: PE, etc.)
Imaging Examples
Wet sheet water content inspection
Areas containing water appear dark, making them detectable.

Circuit observation of silicon wafers
Since infrared wavelengths can penetrate silicon,
changing the observation setup enables pattern observation and foreign object inspection.

Introduction of Infrared Lights (Example)
CCS offers LED and lamp lights.

IR Series (over 1,000 nm type)
- A lineup of six wavelengths: 1050 nm, 1200 nm, 1300 nm, 1450 nm, 1550 nm, and 1650 nm.
- The shape and size can be customized according to the application.

- Hyperspectral imaging lighting is available in three types to suit different applications: high-power irradiation type, line-focusing type, and highly uniform diffusion type.
- We offer proposals for a wide range of applications utilizing wavelength characteristics from visible to SWIR wavelengths (around 2500 nm).
Infrared illumination models at 840 nm and 950 nm are also available.
Near-Infrared Camera
When conducting inspections that utilize the characteristics of infrared wavelengths,
it is necessary to use cameras and lenses that are sensitive to the required wavelength range.
At CCS, we offer a wide selection of infrared wavelength cameras and lenses from various manufacturers.
Please leave the selection of peripheral equipment to our lighting consultants.
