Inspection of Engraved Characters on Patterned Tiles
Character recognition is difficult due to the tile pattern.
The pattern can be removed and surface irregularities extracted, enabling the acquisition of images that facilitate character recognition.
Lights used for the imaging
-
Segmented illumination light HPR2-DV Series
- HPR2-DV Series ring lights with segmented emitting areas
- Effective for appearance inspection using photometric stereo
- Achieved through a solution combining multi-directional illumination and image composition
This is a made-to-order product.
Please contact your sales representative for more information.
Tile Surface Appearance Inspection
Due to illumination unevenness caused by two bar lights, it is difficult to image the tile surface and appearance.
The surface and appearance can be imaged brightly and uniformly by illuminating the workpiece from four directions using four bar lights.
Lights used for the imaging
-
Bar light LDL2-119X16SW2 (4 units) + Brackets
- Bar lights that use surface-mounted LEDs
- Available in 141 models
- Illumination direction and angle can be freely adjusted
A wide variety of lighting shapes and wavelengths are also available.
Please contact your sales representative for more information.
Seal Inspection of Transparent Straw Packaging
The seal condition is difficult to inspect.
The seal condition can be clearly imaged.

Lights used for the imaging
-

Flat light TH2-140X105SW-PM
- Provides a light of high-directivity
- Abundant emitting surface sizes
- Ideal for workpiece contour extraction
A wide variety of lighting shapes and wavelengths are also available.
Please contact your sales representative for more information.
Push Pin Shape Inspection

When illuminated from behind with a flat light, the transparent areas remain visible.
With collimated lighting, the illumination is refracted by the resin, allowing the transparent areas to be imaged as completely black.
Lights used for the imaging
-
Coaxial light MFU-34X30BL2-12, MFU-34X30BL2-24
- Provides light with high parallelism using original lighting technology
- Light convergence can be adjusted according to the lens on the imaging side
- Ideal for high-precision dimensional measurement and scratch/wrinkle inspection
A wide variety of lighting shapes and wavelengths are also available.
Please contact your sales representative for more information.
Foreign Material Inspection on Paper
Fluorescent observation is difficult with white light.
Fluorescent observation for foreign material, such as dust, is possible.
Lights used for the imaging
-
UV line light LNSP-300UV3-365-FNNR
- UV-LED light ideal for fluorescence excitation applications
- Available in a Wide Type for wide-area illumination and a Narrow Type for long-distance illumination
A wide variety of lighting shapes and wavelengths are also available.
Please contact your sales representative for more information.
Presence/Absence Inspection of Packaging Film Tape
With white light, the contrast between the packaging film tape and the sticky note is low.
Fluorescence observation is possible using high-output UV light.
By using an optional filter, high-contrast imaging can be achieved.
Lights used for the imaging
-
UV Light LDR2-100UV3-365-N
- Equipped with high-output UV LEDs
- Available in narrow and wide types
- Custom shapes available for various applications
A wide variety of lighting shapes and wavelengths are also available.
Please contact your sales representative for more information.
Dirt Inspection on Fiber Workpieces
The light-emitting surface is narrow and the angle of light to the surface is small, reducing the overall light hitting the paper and making it difficult to see the dirt.
The large light-emitting surface allows light to hit the paper from multiple directions, making it easier to see the difference between dirt and paper.
Lights used for the imaging
-
Diffused bar lights LB-300X150BL
- Wide emitting surface uniform diffused lighting
- Total of 338 models wide lineup
- High power type with overdrive also available
A wide variety of lighting shapes and wavelengths are also available.
Please contact your sales representative for more information.
Scratch Inspection of Uneven Mats
It is difficult to image foreign materials and contaminants.
Clear imaging of scratches by suppressing shadows on uneven surfaces.
